OBG & Paediatric Lab

The OBG & Pediatric Nursing Lab at our college is a specialized facility that provides hands-on training in maternal, newborn, and child healthcare. It is thoughtfully designed to simulate real-life clinical scenarios, helping students develop essential skills in obstetric, gynecological, and pediatric nursing care.
The lab is equipped with birthing simulators, delivery models, newborn manikins, growth and development charts, and pediatric assessment tools. Students practice antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal care procedures, including conducting normal deliveries, neonatal resuscitation, and care of high-risk infants.
In the pediatric section, students learn to assess and manage the health of children at various developmental stages. They are trained in pediatric nursing procedures, immunization techniques, and child health education, with a strong focus on growth monitoring and nutritional care.
Through guided demonstrations, simulations, and clinical practice, the lab prepares students to deliver safe, competent, and compassionate care to mothers, newborns, and children across healthcare settings.
