Fundamental Lab

The Fundamental Nursing Lab at our college is a well-structured and fully equipped facility designed to lay a strong foundation in clinical nursing practices. It provides a safe and controlled environment where students can develop and refine their basic nursing skills before entering real clinical settings. The lab closely simulates a hospital ward, complete with patient beds, advanced mannequins, charts, dressing trays, and other essential equipment.

Students receive hands-on training in vital nursing procedures such as measuring vital signs, assisting with personal hygiene, feeding techniques, patient positioning, bed making, administering oral medications, maintaining asepsis, and infection control practices. The lab encourages skill development through demonstrations, return demonstrations, role plays, and supervised practice sessions, ensuring students gain confidence and clinical competence.

This lab plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between theoretical learning and practical application.
