Community Lab

The Community Health Nursing Lab is designed to simulate real-life community and home-based healthcare settings. It provides nursing students with practical training in delivering primary healthcare, conducting home visits, and promoting health education in both rural and urban communities.

The lab is equipped with community health bags, models, charts, and audiovisual aids that help students develop skills in areas such as maternal and child health, immunization, family planning, and disease prevention. Through role plays and demonstrations, students learn how to assess community health needs, plan interventions, and educate individuals and families on hygiene, nutrition, sanitation, and national health programs.

This lab serves as a vital link between theoretical learning and fieldwork, preparing students to become effective community health nurses who can work in diverse public health environments with confidence and compassion.
